MZ Biolabs offers analytical testing for a wide range of pharmaceutical compounds, including over the counter medications and supplements. By using HPLC with UV detection combined with mass spectrometry, we can confirm the compounds you are manufacturing or importing are correctly identified and meet your specifications. We typically test purified compounds (raw powders), but can also quantify compounds which have been formulated in liquid, tablets, and capsules.
We frequently analyze peptides, SARMS, nootropics, vitamins, and prescription medications. MZ Biolabs is a US DEA schedule III licensed facility and proudly serves clients world wide. Certificates of analysis are available for purity of raw powders and liquids as well as quantification of solutions, tablets, and capsules.
There is a lot of fraudulent material on the market lately, thus we use mass spectrometry for every analysis to be certain that compounds tested are correctly identified. There is no other testing method that can quickly and easily confirm the molecular weight of a compound. UV detection alone might be sufficient for purity, but if the identity isn't certain, the consequences could be dangerous. If you are a consumer, please encourage your vendors to have their material tested.
Whether you are an end purchaser or distributer, it is reasonable to request a Certificate of Analysis from the supplier. This would likely be an HPLC Certificate only and may be faked. But it lets your supplier know that you are concerned about quality. Additionally, it is reasonable to ask that the Certificate be from an independent, third party testing lab (such as MZ Biolabs). We are happy to work with suppliers and currently work with many of them to independently confirm purity and identify counterfeit products. The suppliers that work with us are those who are most conscientious about providing authentic and high quality products. Even so, our experience is that more than 10% of the products we've tested are fake.
